In just a few minutes you can turn your Android smartphone into a fully featured card terminal. We'll show you step by step how to get started — and at the end we'll answer what comes next.

Install the apps
Download the helloCash app and the Mollie Tap app from the Google Play Store onto your Android smartphone. Then sign in to the helloCash app with your account.

Activate Tap to Pay
Open the "Payments" section in the app and activate Tap to Pay. We'll automatically check that your device is compatible and your account is enabled.
Tip: Make sure NFC is switched on in your Android settings. - 3
Enter the amount
Type the invoice amount into the helloCash app and select "Card payment". Your smartphone instantly turns into a payment terminal.
Tip: You can also preset tip options to speed up the checkout. - 4
Hold your customer's card or smartphone to your phone
Your customers simply hold their contactless bank or credit card — or their smartphone with Apple Pay / Google Pay — against the back of your phone. The payment is confirmed in seconds.
Tip: For amounts over € 50, customers are automatically prompted to enter their PIN directly on the screen. - 5
Send the receipt
Choose whether to send the receipt by email, SMS or display it as a QR code. The payment appears in your helloCash dashboard immediately.
Tip: All transactions are automatically archived for your bookkeeping.

Once you've received your first payment, it's worth expanding your setup.
Receive & track payments
In the helloCash dashboard you can see all Tap to Pay payments in real time — including the payout schedule to your bank account.
